What. A. Year!
2025 has been filled with THE most incredible weddings, each one bursting with love, personality, and unforgettable moments.
From intimate elopements to jam packed dance floors, every wedding I photographed was unique, full of joy and centred around love and connection.
As I look back on the year, I’m genuinely beyond grateful to have documented so many beautiful love stories. This post is a collection of some of my favourite moments: those breath-taking portraits, emotional candids, and wild dance moves that made 2025 so special.
Wedding Trends
This year, I saw couples fully embracing the spirit of "your wedding your way" whether that meant handwritten vows, outfit changes, or arriving to your reception by tractor! Couples have leant into a gorgeous mix of laid-back luxury and intentional details. Burnt orange, terracotta, and rust remained strong, but this year saw a rise in pastel blues, neutrals, and soft greens for a timeless yet modern aesthetic.
I have also LOVED seeing more whimsical, colourful florals with an old money inspired dress code. Not forgetting a shout out to city elopements and understated elegance which are not going anywhere with several booked in for 2026!
I remember post-lockdown dancefloors feeling so different, a release of some sort which just meant the guests partied harder. Couples were setting the energy and tone with sax players etc - this is here to stay and I am such a fan.
The moments that stole my heart
- Groom Dan bringing typed copies of his speech for both sets of grandparents who were hard of hearing. Genuinely one of the most thoughtful gestures I’ve seen.
- T & J’s wedding in Holland, where 120+ guests took over the sweetest little town and made a pub stop between the church and reception for “one for the road.”
- Tora crowd surfing, name me something more iconic..... I'll wait.
- Hattie’s outfit change, featuring a custom top made from her mum’s wedding dress.
- Emily & Ollie’s deeply emotional ceremony at Pentney Abbey.
- November bride Micaela's darling little boy walking her down the aisle
- March bride Amy carrying her grandma’s handwriting wrapped around her bouquet.
- Lydia’s grandad stealing the show on karaoke.
- Lucy & Will’s ceilidh - The best kind of dancefloor chaos
- Groom Andy trying to hold it together as he waited for his bride at the top of the aisle.
- Chloe & Ryan’s adorable speech from the bride’s sister.
- D & J’s little girl leaving the sweetest voice note for her dad before her mum walked down the aisle.
- Lauren & Dan’s bridal party, in floods of tears. Love a supportive team!

The Backdrops to 2025’s Best Moments
Weddings have taken me to so many beautiful spots this year across the UK and beyond,
The Stables at Tannington Hall in Suffolk was new to me and was an absolute delight to photograph, a real hidden gem in Suffolk. Think gorgeous rustic barn but elevated with the most stunning grounds and gorgeous barn doors that make THE perfect backdrop for your group shots.
Central Park in Voorburg, Netherlands, literally looks like you've walked straight into a rom-com. The boutique hotel is surrounded by cute little tree-lined paths and the Michelin star food is to die for!
Chelsea Old Town Hall is always a pleasure to photograph at with its effortlessly chic style and iconic steps for confetti
Pentney Abbey, one of my faves in Norfolk, The medieval gatehouse is the perfect intimate ceremony spot and equally as beautiful for a backdrop for your couple portraits.
I've also absolutely loved shooting several relaxed marquee weddings at family homes this year. There’s something so personal and grounding about celebrating in a place filled with memories.
Style Moments Worth Celebrating
This year brought so many iconic fashion choices:
2-in-1 dresses have really had a moment. A second look with minimal effort required, what's not to love! I'm obsessed with how the vibe changes when it’s mini-dress time.
A huge shout-out to the grooms of 2025, many of whom fully embraced black tie and tails. I absolutely love seeing grooms show off their style too.
There were lots of chic, timeless gowns with bold structure and clean lines, alongside puff sleeves and subtle statement details that felt effortlessly elegant.
Veils were having a moment this year, everything from embroidered, embellished, or classic blushers adding movement, romance, and that little wow factor in portraits and I'm so here for it!
And let’s not forget the shoes, I'm genuinely shoe obsessed! 2025 brought everything from Sophia Websters with the iconic Wifey 4 Lifey soles to personalised converse and off-white trainers, every choice was iconic and perfectly reflected each couple’s personality.
Fashion in 2025 was all about confidence, personality, and effortless style, little details that made every wedding feel completely unique.
A Quick Shoutout to the Dream Teams of 2025
I’ve been lucky to work alongside some truly incredible suppliers this year, from florists and planners to makeup artists and videographers who brought each wedding to life so effortlessly. And 2025 has definitely been the year of the wedding content creator; the ones I’ve worked with have brought such a fun, modern addition to the day, capturing those behind-the-scenes moments while I focus on the storytelling. It really does take a team, and this year’s teams have been a joy.
