Tora and Josh’s intimate London legal ceremony was the perfect prelude to their big wedding celebration in the Netherlands. The day began at The Ned, the very place where their love story first began. Getting ready together in such a meaningful location made the morning feel extra special, and we captured some relaxed couple portraits in and around the venue. The perfect mix of style and sentiment.
From there, we hailed a black cab to Chelsea Old Town Hall, with a cheeky stop along the way so Josh could pick up a bouquet for Tora from a local flower stall. It was such a thoughtful touch that felt like something straight out of a rom-com!
The couples closest family who by the way were all dressed impeccably, gathered to witness the most adorable heartfelt ceremony full of smiles, joy, and a few happy tears.
Of course, we made sure to capture the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall steps photos, a must for any London Town Hall Wedding!
After the ceremony, everyone headed to The Fox and Pheasant for dinner and drinks. Tora and Josh had hired the upstairs room and decorated it with bud vases and elegant florals, creating the most perfect setting for an intimate celebration. It was a gorgeous, heartfelt way to mark their legal marriage before all of us made our way to the Netherlands two weeks later for the main event.
This wedding was extra special to photograph, as I’d had the honour of capturing Tora’s sister’s wedding two years earlier. Being welcomed back into the family to capture another beautiful chapter was the biggest privilege and is one of the reasons I love being a wedding photographer!
