The setting
Lauren & George’s stunning wedding at Worlingham Hall in Suffolk was one for the books. The perfect mix of good vibes, emotional moments and personal touches. Finished off with a legendary party.
Worlingham Hall (which by the way might just be my new favourite venue) really does have it all. The Grade I listed Georgian house is surrounded by immaculate gardens and acres of woodland, not to mention the heated pool. The venue also offers accomodation for up to 50 guests. perfectly complemented their wedding's elegant yet personal vibe. The venue's decor oozes old-world charm and grandeur, The couple added their own modern twist with personalised signage designed by George himself.
Having never shot at Worlingham Hall, I arrived in good time to scope out the best photo spots, honestly I needn't have bothered, every inch of this place is breathtakingly beautiful and unique. Lauren and George meticulously planned the day to incorporate so many fabulous factors of this hidden gem. From poolside drinks to group photos on the incredibly grand staircase.

Prep and Pamper
The morning of the wedding was all about relaxed, positive vibes. Lauren and her bridesmaids spent the early hours getting glammed up, the tunes were on and the excitement was starting to build in the bridal suite, especially from the adorable flower girls who were desperate to get in their pretty dresses. Across the Hall, George was busy welcoming guests to their rooms and making sure everyone felt at home.
Lauren's gorgeous gown was one of a kind, the elegant lace detail on the sleeves was to die for and I was beyond obsessed with her shoes, I love a bow!

The "I Do's"
The gods were on our side as the light drizzle stopped perfectly in time for L& G to have their perfectly planned outdoor ceremony. The super sweet flower girls were followed by the bridesmaids showing off their gorgeous bouquets that they had put together themselves the evening before! Having got the legalities out of the way earlier that week the ceremony was led by the couple’s dear friend Nate, who was the most incredible celebrant. Together Lauren, George and Nate had created the perfect ceremony 'script' which was the ideal mix of humour, sentiment, and personal touches. Nate’s ability to balance heartfelt emotion with laughter really did make the ceremony unforgettable. Another highlight of the ceremony has to be when bridesmaid Maddie read a personal poem she had written for the couple. Her delivery was absolutely flawless, the poem was so personal, witty and emotional, showcasing her drama school skills and it left everyone sobbing (me included). Honestly.... talk about friend goals!
The new Mr & Mrs sealed the deal with a perfect kiss to whoops and cheers from all their guests, and as they danced their way back down the aisle they stopped for the most perfect dip kiss - my personal favourite way to finish a ceremony.

Poolside Cheers and Grandad's Wheels
After the ceremony, guests headed to the poolside for drinks and canapés, soaking in the warm atmosphere of the day. This gave me the perfect opportunity to whisk Lauren & George away for their couple portraits. Worlingham Hall's grand setting was a dream to work with, and we took full advantage of its every corner—yes, even the bathtub! The balance of opulence and intimacy throughout the venue provided the ideal backdrop for candid, romantic shots.
The couple portraits were an absolute delight to photograph, we had a real giggle and it gave Lauren and George a chance to embrace those just married feels. We took advantage of the grandeur of the venue, from the regal hallways to more unexpected spots like the classic bathtub (which made for some super unique photos!). Lauren & George were a dream to work with, effortlessly blending elegance with playfulness. Their chemistry and love for one another made capturing genuine moments so easy!
Another sentimental touch that I absolutely adored was how the couple incorporated Georges grandad's classic car into their day. It fitted the vibe to a tee.

It's giving... album cover!
With several guests and members of the bridal party meeting at drama school it was only natural that we put their acting skills to the test with a couple of boujee group shots.
There has been a huge shift for 2024, I'm seeing so many couples happy to show more personality and creativity for their group shots and I am such a fan. Personally, I'd much rather have photos like this with all my favourite people than a traditional stiff line-up.

Toasts (Literally), and an Iconic Serenade
Guests were treated to the most delicious paella—definitely a rare treat for me to enjoy by the pool at a wedding! Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, the couple's cake (which, by the way, was from M&S and beautifully decorated by the couple themselves—what a top tier wedding hack!) was brought out with sparklers, greeted by cheers from all their friends and family. Cake cutting can be such an awkward, anti-climactic moment, but I absolutely loved this fun and relaxed twist on the tradition!
The speeches were kicked off with Lauren's dad who kept it short and sweet, but every word was filled with pride and love, showcasing the super special dad and daughter bond.
George's speech took everyone on a rollercoaster of every emotion, from absolute fits of laughter to tears, it was heartfelt, hilarious, and simply perfect.
Best man Liam followed up with some hilarious tales of his friendship with the couple over the years, not to mention an actual slice of toast to toast the new Mr & Mrs, he really was the ultimate hype man to set the tone for the rest of the party.
Much to George's surprise Lauren then stood to say a few words that turned into a full blown serenade along with the help of a few friends - absolutely ICONIC!

Scoops, Smiles, and Sweet Memories: The Ice Cream Hour
Guests spilled out onto the beautiful grounds of Worlingham Hall for an hour of unlimited ice cream—a seriously sweet touch. It wasn’t just any ice cream van, either. This was the van that George and his family used to run out to as kids, making it even more special.

Golden skies, tranquil vibes
Earlier in the day, we got some epic, Vogue-worthy shots, but when golden hour rolled in, we shifted gears. It was all about those natural, intimate moments. The focus was on capturing Lauren and George just being them. The new Mr. & Mrs. danced in the soft, golden light, sharing quiet, beautiful moments that felt like pure magic.

You & Me Always
Lauren and George kicked things off with their first dance to "You & Me Song" by The Wannadies, nailing that perfect mix of choreographed moves and a laid-back sway. Every lift and twirl had their guests cheering—ultimate hype crew energy! The song totally captured their personality and vibe, setting the mood for the night ahead.
As the sun set things got wild when the legendary Sax Walker hit the dance floor, turning the energy up to eleven and setting the scene for an unforgettable party.
WHAT. A. DAY!
