A boujee bank holiday affair
Some weddings are simply unforgettable, and Jodie and Jake’s celebration at Hunters Hall was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the buzz and excitement in the air. The perfect weather set the stage for an incredible summer bank holiday wedding that was equal parts heartfelt and full of energy.
A bride tribe that brought the vibes
The day kicked off with Jodie and her girls getting ready at the venues bespoke pamper lounge. These ladies were an absolute blast and set the tone for the day with their laughter, dancing, and unwavering support for Jodie. Dressed in stunning deep green dresses, they were the perfect complement to the stylish and modern vibe of the wedding. Meanwhile, the boys looked incredibly dapper in three-piece suits with cream jackets from pal joey, adding a touch of timeless sophistication.

An Emotional Ceremony
The ceremony was held in Hunters Hall’s beautiful Victorian Barn, and it was nothing short of emotional. One of the most touching moments was Maid of Honour Robyn walking Jodie down the aisle, a gesture that brought so much meaning and depth to the occasion. Jake’s anticipation at the altar was palpable, and when he saw Jodie for the first time, the love between them was undeniable. It's moments like this that make me feel so lucky to call this "work"!

A Magical Drinks Reception
Jodie and Jake had meticulously planned their wedding to ensure their guests had a day to remember From the start, drinks were flowing, and the party atmosphere was set. Magician Edd Crafer dazzled everyone with his incredible tricks, leaving guests mind-blown and adding a unique flair to the day.
One of the standout moments was the on trend “mob-style” group shot and video that Jodie and Jake had envisioned. It was epic! We gathered their closest pals to create a glamorous, cinematic moment that truly captured the bold, fun spirit of the day.

Beautiful backdrops
Not wanting to pull the new Mr. and Mrs. away from the party for too long, we opted for a brief couple’s portrait session. Hunters Hall is the perfect venue for this, with so many gorgeous settings in close proximity. We took full advantage of the grand, sweeping driveway for timeless shots and captured romantic moments in the beautifully kept gardens. Jodie and Jake were naturals in front of the camera, having had their pre-wedding shoot a few months prior they were totally at ease and embraced the moment together!

Toasts and Tricks
The couple were announced to cheers and napkins waving. The speeches that followed were a rollercoaster of emotions, blending loving congratulations with plenty of laughs. Jodie’s brother gave a deeply emotional speech that had everyone in tears, while Best Man Seb had the guests crying with laughter with his comical tales from his and Jakes friendship over the years. Jake’s speech was heartfelt and sincere, a beautiful reflection of his love for Jodie and their journey together.

Poppin' Bottles
Jodie and Jake had told me they wanted a day full of bold, celebratory moments, especially including the bridal party and one of my absolute favourites was the champagne spray group shot in front of the legendary Cow's Head Barn. It was a perfect representation of the love and energy that filled the day. Surrounded by their best mates, bottles of champagne popped, spraying everywhere as everyone cheered for the happy couple. It was pure, authentic celebration at its finest.

A Day to Remember
As the sun began to set, I took Jodie and Jake for a quiet moment to soak in the golden hour light in the beautiful fields surrounding Hunters Hall. These moments are always so special—a chance for couples to pause, breathe, and take it all in before heading back to the dance floor to party the night away. The soft glow of the setting sun was the perfect backdrop for some truly magical portraits.
