Gorgeous Godwick
I had the pleasure of photographing Becca and Chris after they saw my work at their friends' wedding (Shout out, Carys & Pete!). Becca and Chris’s big day at Godwick Great Barn was one of those weddings that don't feel like work and more like celebrating with friends! Becca and Chris planned an effortlessly cool, laid-back celebration focused on good vibes, great food, and the company of their closest friends. It was a pleasure to capture their love story in such a beautiful, setting. Godwick Great Barn is the home of boho, the rustic barn was kitted out to perfection with a combo of greenery and dried flowers.

Pre-wedding feels
As I arrived at Godwick Hall it was nothing but good energy and chill vibes with the lads having a game of pool whilst the girls were getting their glam on. Godwick Hall is a photographers dream for a prep location, bright and airy with the perfect amount of character and quirkiness!

A Rustic Entrance
Becca, her bridesmaids, and her boho-chic gown made an unforgettable entrance in style—arriving at the barn on the iconic Godwick tractor. It was such a fun way to set the tone for the day, adding a little rustic flair to the relaxed vibe. And speaking of the bridesmaids, they absolutely nailed the boho theme in their own individual burnt orange dresses that popped against the natural tones of the barn.
The ceremony was all about love and connection. Becca and Chris exchanged personal vows with cute little nods to their love story, bringing all the emotions.

Dreamy Windswept Moments
For the couple portraits we headed to the ruins at Godwick Barn giving the newlyweds a chance to have a slow moment in the midst of a whirlwind day. Becca and Chris wanted a relaxed and natural feel for their photos, and I think we absolutely nailed it. The ruins provided such a stunning, textured backdrop that contrasted beautifully with Becca’s intricately detailed dress and that showstopper of a veil. The wind was a paid actor, giving us those dreamy, windswept moments every photographer hopes for. It felt like we were just capturing them being themselves, no gimmicks and the images were just perfect.

Laughter, Good Vibes, and Unforgettable Moments
The rest of the day unfolded in the most chilled, joyful way. Guests mingled, enjoying incredible food and drinks, and the barn was buzzing with the kind of energy you get when everyone’s just so happy to be there. Whether it was the laid-back vibe, the rustic décor, or the laughter and stories shared among friends, everything came together perfectly.

Tribute to Tribbiani
Guests went on an emotional ride during the speeches, kicking off with the bridesmaids’ fun and cheeky tribute! With a nod to Joey Tribbiani’s classic "giving and receiving" line (if you know, you know!), they had everyone creasing up. Next up, the groomsmen took over, sharing funny stories about Chris growing up and light-hearted banter about Chris' quirks.. Finally, Chris himself wrapped things up with a heartfelt, confident speech that was the perfect mix of love, gratitude, and just the right amount of humour.

Golden Hour Magic
As the sun began to set, we headed back to the ruins for another quick portrait session. I always aim to split portrait time into two shorter sessions so couples don’t miss out on too much of their day, while also adding variety to their final gallery. Plus, who can resist that gorgeous golden hour glow?

I bet that you look good on the dancefloor
