Where it all began...
I first met Grace and Sam back in 2022 for a 'couples photo session' where this gorgeous pair braved a chilly Norfolk coast. I have to say the images from that day remain among my favourites. The chemistry between these two is absolutely magical. Whilst we were chatting Grace casually mentioned her professional modelling background (clearly evident - she exudes elegance and is a delight to photograph). It's fair to say Sam was slightly more apprehensive to begin with but quickly acclimatised and by the end carried himself like a seasoned pro! Grace and I were (not so subtly) convincing Sam to consider a future in modelling. The rest is now history. This talented pair have been captured by leading photographers and have been featured left right and centre including in Vogue!

Chill Vibes and Wholesome Values
Its always a huge honour to be entrusted with capturing the moments of someone's wedding, and when Grace and Sam approached me to photograph their big day, I was over the moon. Having photographed their initial couple shoot, being chosen to photograph their first moments as Mr & Mrs held immense significance.
Right from the start G&S emphasized the importance of traditional values and sentimental touches for their wedding. It was essential to the couple that after so many styled wedding shoots their actual wedding had a completely different feel with a focus on how weddings used to be. With a multitude of posed couple photographs already i n their collection my approach on the day was very natural, candid and documentary to encapsulate the authentic essence of their union.
On the morning of the wedding, Grace along with her lovely mum and sisters were super relaxed and welcoming. Not only did Grace chose to handle her own hair and make up she also took on the role of styling her bridesmaids and mum. Not to mention crafting the bouquets, what a hero! The bridesmaids adorned stunning bespoke dresses created by Sam's sister.
Rolling with the traditional theme to the day, Graces super proud dad chauffeured the beautiful bride and her sisters to the church in an impressive vintage MG.
The 'I do's'
Following a beautiful traditional ceremony at Ingatestone Church, complete with emotional readings that left not a dry eye in sight, guests headed back to the reception on a vintage red bus and awaited the arrival of the new Mr & Mrs who followed shortly after soaking up those first few moments as a married couple! In impeccable style the new Mr & Mrs opted to pop a bottle for a Champagne spray before being introduced into the marquee to pour a Champagne tower to toast the coming together of their two families

First Dance
Before even asking the couple about their first dance plans I knew we would be in for a treat, Grace being a trained dancer and Sam a professional musician, it had to be good! Oh my goodness they did not disappoint, it really was absolutely incredible. Just look at the way Grace's gorgeous Ronald Joyce gown moves - PERFECTION!

Dancefloor
After some faultless speeches that seemed to invoke every emotion from belly laughs to tears, the guests let loose on the dancefloor with a cheeky cameo from the groom on drums to really get the party started! The dancefloor was still going off even when the newlyweds had been sent off into the sunset!

The perfect finish
The perfect finish to the perfect day, Grace and Sam sailed out of their reception greeted with confetti cannons before hopping in to a classic black cab (tins and all) to be waved off on honeymoon by all their nearest and dearest!
Congratulations again Mr & Mrs L - your day will always be one to remember!
