Ellen & Chloe's Vibrant Woodland Wedding at Wellington Wood, Norfolk
Nestled in the serene landscape of Norfolk, Ellen and Chloe celebrated their wedding at the absolutely gorgeous Wellington Wood. After lots of rainy weddings this May, the brides diligently buried a sausage and it paid off! The day was beautiful sunshine, which was perfect for their vibrant, rainbow-themed celebration. The brides had a vision for the day that really incorporated the breathtaking grounds and nature that Wellington Wood provides, so I was over the moon that the sun finally put his hat on!

Handcrafted wedding decorations
When couples are planning their special day I am the biggest advocat of "you do you" sacking off traditions that they aren't interested in and really honing in on the parts that are important to them. Ellen & Chloe's wedding was the perfect example of this and it was clear to everyone present that this was not only a wedding for the two brides but the union of their two families. Decorations at the wedding were both beautiful and meaningful. Handcrafted paper cranes, made by the brides along with friends and family, adorned the venue, everywhere from the ceremony backdrop to the reception area. Each crane represented a day from when Ellen and Chloe first met to their wedding day, this little detail absolutely stole my heart! The venue décor really captured the brides' personalities and styles.

Wedding Morning Glam
The brides and their tribe spent the morning at Forest Cottage getting their glam on with Kirsty - AF on hair and make up. Ellen chose a classic floaty white gown, styled with an incredible tie dyed rainbow veil that really was a show stopper. Chloe, on the other hand, chose a sparkling, glitzy jumpsuit that was eye-catching and sparkled amazingly when the sun caught it!

Woodland Ceremony
The whimsical woodland ceremony, was pure magic. The brides were clearly in their element, surrounded by the beauty of the woods. The ceremony started with their rainbow-coloured bridal party walking down the aisle, bringing a burst of colour and happiness. Then, each bride followed, walking with their children, making it a super special family moment in the most enchanting setting.

Golden Glow
The couple expressed their love for glowy golden light and sunbursts/light leaks for their photos. We took the opportunity to go for some shorter couple portrait sessions throughout the day rather than pulling the brides away from their guests for too long at a time. This approach allowed us to chase the sun around the gorgeous setting adding lots of variety to the brides final gallery.

Relaxed Vibes
The couple carefully planned a relaxed, fun-filled day with a variety of lawn games. Guests could enjoy activities like giant Jenga, and limbo which kept everyone entertained, whilst overs caught up over drinks basking in the sun adding to the laid-back vibes of the celebration.

Sunset, Sand Merging and Shapes on the dancefloor
After the wedding ceremony the brides were treated to a surprise from their lovely friend. A unique sand merging ceremony where both families poured sands of different colours into a single jar, symbolizing the blending of their lives and families. This meaningful act added yet another perfect personal touch to the day, highlighting the importance of family unity.

Congratulations again Mrs & Mrs E
Ellen and Chloe’s wedding at Wellington Wood, Norfolk really was a vibrant and refreshing celebration of two beautiful families. The rainbow theme, unique and meaningful personal touches, and chill vibes made it a truly special day. This whimsical woodland wedding will be one to remember!
