Love in Bloom: Cassie & Ryan's Dreamy Spring Wedding
Cassie and Ryan celebrated their special day in the most romantic and sentimental way possible—on their anniversary, no less! Despite a drizzly start to the day the bride and groom didn't let it dampen their spirits and there was a real buzz as the bride and her tribe got ready at the gorgeous Holly Lodge, Thursford. Even Max the family dog had his glad rags on!

Heartfelt Ceremony
The guests gathered in the charming Thursford Church where Ryan awaited the arrival of his beautiful bride. The emotional and heartfelt ceremony included personal vows, happy tears from Cassie's super proud dad and of course her new hubby! By the time this gorgeous pair were declared Mr & Mrs the rain had eased (Full credit to to the bride burying a sausage the night before the wedding - I'm not entirely sure if this is just a Norfolk tradition but so far it's nearly always come good!) and we were lucky enough to get some formal family photos in front of the church before heading over to Thursford Collective for more celbrations.

The Magical Thursford Collective
For anyone wondering.. Thursford is just as magical in March as it is at christmas! The unique venue oozes fun with the nostalgic rides and plenty of eye catching features it is the perfect way to keep your guests entertained. As a documentary photographer Thursford is absolute gold for candid fun guest images! We made the most of the beautiful carousel for our group images!

Thursford Secret Garden
I whisked the new Mr & Mrs away for some time together to soak up that just married feeling, and what better setting than 'The secret garden'. It's always nice to have a variety of backdrops for wedding photos and I absolutely adored the juxtaposition of the museum against the gorgeous greenery!

Garden Pavilion
The garden pavilion was transformed in to a spring fairytale. Cassie, the queen of organization, left no detail untouched. From the blooms to the perfectly placed decorations, her thoughtful planning made the day sparkle. Speeches commenced with each one bringing its own unique flavor to the celebration. Starting with Cassies dad who was absolutely brimming with pride and love for his little girl. Ryan treated the guests to a heartfelt rhyming ode to the pairs love story and lastly we finished with a dose of comic relief from Ryans best man with funny anecdotes and memories from their shared adventures.

Chasing Sunsets
When I spoke with Cassie & Ryan ahead of the wedding we had discussed golden hour/sunset portraits, it is slightly trickier with spring/winter weddings as the sun tends to set right around the time you are sat down to eat. We all agreed that on the day if we were blessed with a beautiful sunset we would nip out in between courses to take advantage of the setting. Oh my goodness our prayers were answered and we were blessed with a beautiful dramatic sunset, resulting in some stunning couple portraits!

Dancing Shoes
As the new Mr. and Mrs. stepped onto the iconic Thursford dance floor, excitement buzzed through the air. With the curtains drawn and their loved ones cheering them on, they shared a magical first dance. Just when they thought it couldn't get any better, Jermaine Jones appeared with his saxophone, turning the party up a notch and the dancefloor absolutely went off!

Champagne Celebrations
With formalities over and drinks now flowing I couldn't resist snapping some fun pics of the bridal squad beneath the legendary Thursford sign. Although the formal group photos are important I absolutely love the playful relaxed group shots in the evening!
